How does Corelex know what products I sell?
When you install the Corelex WordPress plugin, it syncs your webshop’s product catalogue — names, descriptions, categories, attributes, prices, and stock levels. Only this product data is shared. Never your customer data, orders, or payment information.
Does Corelex actually add products to the cart?
Yes. When a customer asks about a product and wants to buy, Corelex can add it directly to their webshop’s cart inside the chat. No redirect to a product page required.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan at any time?
Yes. You can change your plan at any time from your account dashboard. Upgrades take effect immediately, downgrades at the end of your current billing period. No lock-in contracts.
What payment methods are accepted?
Corelex uses FluentCart for payments, which supports all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) as well as other local payment methods. All payments are processed securely.
What happens when my query limit is reached?
The chat widget remains visible but pauses AI responses until your next billing cycle. You’ll receive an alert at 80% of your monthly limit so you’re never caught off guard.
Can Corelex connect to our CRM or helpdesk platform?
Yes. Corelex is built around a connector registry that integrates with enterprise platforms including Salesforce, ServiceNow, and custom REST APIs. Connectors can both read data — such as knowledge base articles, open cases, or contact records — and write back to those systems, for example creating a ticket or updating a lead. If you use a platform not yet on the standard list, ask us about a custom connector.
Is Corelex GDPR compliant, and where is our data stored?
Yes. Corelex is built on Google Cloud and all data, like product catalogues, conversation logs, and indexed knowledge, is stored in the region of your choice at setup: EU (Google Cloud European multi-region, suitable for GDPR), US, or Global (stored in the US). No region is imposed. No data is processed outside your chosen jurisdiction. Tenants are logically isolated, meaning your data is never commingled with another organization’s. If you require a data processing agreement (DPA) for compliance purposes, contact us and we’ll provide one.
What AI model does Corelex use?
Corelex runs on Gemini, Google’s enterprise AI model, accessed through Vertex AI — Google Cloud’s managed AI platform. This means your queries are processed within Google’s security perimeter, not on a shared public endpoint. We chose Gemini for its strong multilingual performance and its price-to-quality ratio, which allows us to keep per-query costs low across all plan tiers.
Does Corelex detect when a visitor is about to leave?
Yes. Corelex includes exit intent detection, when a visitor’s cursor or behavior signals they’re about to leave, the chat widget proactively surfaces a featured product or personalized message. It’s one of the highest-ROI moments in your store, and Corelex handles it automatically.
Is Corelex a chatbot or an AI agent platform?
Corelex is an AI agent platform. The chat widget on your storefront is just the visible surface of it. Underneath, it runs two connected agents: a sales agent that reads your live WooCommerce catalogue, stock, and orders to recommend products and add them to cart, and a service agent that answers support questions from your store’s own content. Both share the same GCP core: Vertex AI Search, Gemini Flash, and a connector registry that can extend to Salesforce or ServiceNow for larger merchants. So “chatbot” describes what the customer sees; “AI agent platform” describes what’s actually running behind it.
