Frequently asked questions
Can customers really add products to their cart from the chat?
Yes. Corelex’s Sales Agent renders inline product cards inside the chat with a working add-to-cart button. After adding, a cart confirmation appears with View Cart and Checkout shortcuts. The customer never leaves the conversation.
What happens if no matching products are found?
Corelex returns an explicit empty result and tells the customer. It never invents products, suggests out-of-stock items, or falls back to guessing. This hallucination guard is non-negotiable — and it’s a genuine trust signal for your customers.
Does it work with my existing WordPress pages and policies?
Yes. The Service Agent ingests your WordPress pages, posts, and PDFs via the standard WP REST API. Your existing content becomes your AI knowledge base immediately — no re-writing, no migration.
Can I use both the Sales Agent and Service Agent together?
Yes — that’s the Dual Agent mode, included from the Professional tier. Both datastores are queried in parallel, so there’s no latency penalty from having both active.
What happens when a customer needs a human?
Corelex detects frustration or an explicit request and surfaces a WhatsApp handoff button. On click, an AI-generated conversation summary (in the customer’s language, ≤200 words) is pre-filled in WhatsApp. Your team gets full context instantly.
Where is my store’s data stored?
You choose at setup: EU (GDPR-suitable), US, or Global (US storage). This selection is made from your WordPress admin — no GCP console required.
What languages does the widget support?
English, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese are built in. Widget greetings automatically adapt to the page’s HTML language attribute. Additional languages can be added on Enterprise plans.
Do I need a developer to install Corelex?
No. Installation follows the standard WordPress plugin workflow. Datastore provisioning is one click from the admin panel. WooCommerce REST API credentials are used for the Sales Agent; the Service Agent uses the public WordPress REST API with no additional credentials.
